Mediation
Mediation is a structured negotiation process and a form of alternative dispute resolution used to assist parties such as a separating couple or other family members in solving their legal problems and to help reach a decision or agreement. We are committed to delivering peaceful, mediated outcomes wherever possible.
Through the use of a Mediator, communications can be improved between divorcing or separating couples. If an agreement can be reached in mediation, it can be made into court orders such as those made in the Family Court of Western Australia. This enables couples going through separation or divorce to feel secure in the knowledge that their agreement is also an enforceable court order.
Family law mediation can can include resolving disputes in child custody, property settlement, spousal maintenance, child support, relocation, and most other areas of family law.
