Carr & Co to challenge for podium in 2017 Port to Pub

Carr & Co are again competing in the Port to Pub Rottnest crossing swim on 25 March 2017. The event comprises of a team of four starting at Leighton Beach and finishing out the front of the Rottnest Hotel after approximately 20kms of swimming.

The four people competing in the event are:

  1. Mike McConnell of Air Services Australia;
  2. Ben King of Carr & Co;
  3. Justin Palmer of Grill’d; and
  4. Ross Robertson of RCR Resources.

As part of the event, the firm is encouraging donations as Mike McConnell’s wife has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer.

An article was published on the Daily Mail late last year about Kim McConnell, who was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer two hours before giving birth to her second child. A link to the article is as follows:
